Celebrate Earth Day with Bramley
Sustainability has always been at the heart of what we do here at Bramley, from introducing refillable glass bottles and 5-litre starter packs to our fully recyclable packaging and the 100% bio-degradable ingredients we use within our products. Slowly, we are working towards becoming a zero-waste brand and are committed to always choosing the most eco-friendly options wherever we can.
Ingredients:
As 22nd April marks Earth Day, we wanted to highlight the importance of the work we do to help our planet. Starting with the ingredients, we use within our products. We are very proud of the fact that we never use anything that mother nature wouldn’t approve of within our botanical blends. All of our bottles are filled with the most natural ingredients that are completely bio-degradable and safe to be washed into rivers and oceans, making them safe for your skin and the environment around us.
The essential oils we use are fair trade, wildcrafted, grown sustainably and sourced carefully. We avoid harmful and unethical ingredients that are widely used in the beauty industry and are committed to finding naturally derived ingredients that we know are proven to deliver the best results.
Packaging:
We avoid single-use plastic and have recently introduced 250ml glass bottles and bulk sizes such as 1 litre, 5 litres, and 20 litres so that our single bottles can be refilled. We wrap all our orders carefully in paper shred and cardboard and include a sheet of Bramley tissue paper that has been beautifully illustrated and can be coloured in once received!
We’re Vegan:
We are proud to be vegan friendly and Vegan Society approved! The only product within our collection that is not vegan is our lip balm which is made from beeswax; however, no bees were harmed in the collection process.
Cruelty-Free:
Not only are we verified by the Vegan Society, but we are also Leaping Bunny approved. This means that all of our cruelty-free standards are over and above legal requirements.
Made in Britain:
Bramley is a British brand that strives to use British suppliers where possible. Everything is manufactured in the UK in small batches so there is no wastage and the quality of the products is the best it can be.
Charity Work:
We are passionate about helping to support our local community as much as possible, which is why we are proud to be supporting Plantlife, a charity that helps to protect endangered plants. For every Room Spray or Body Lotion sold online, we will donate £1 to their charity in order to help to care for our beautiful countryside!
We also donate £1 from every Digby Dog House sold to the Wild at Heart Foundation, which works towards ending the suffering of stray dogs worldwide.
Bramley is committed to helping the world around us by following these small steps.
