Am I able to use Bramley products whilst pregnant?

All of our products contain essential oils but we have made sure that they are not at such levels that would cause concern during pregnancy. Some women do choose to avoid all essential oils whilst pregnant. If you have any concerns, we suggest you consult your doctor or pharmacist before using the product. Each product has its ingredients listed on our website (just click on the product you are interested in and you’ll see the ingredients tab).

Are Bramley products suitable for Vegans?

All our products are suitable for vegans.

Do Bramley test on animals?

None of our products are tested on animals.

Do Bramley products contain Gluten?

No, our products do not contain gluten.

Can Bramley be used on children?

We would recommend only the minimal amount of product on children because their skin might be sensitive. Bramley products do not contain any ingredients which might cause undue problems to children such as petrochemicals, sulphates, artificial colours or fragrances. If your child has any allergies or skin conditions we would recommend consulting your GP before using our products.

Is Bramley’s packaging recyclable?

The bottles, lids, pumps and boxes we use are all completely recyclable.

Do Bramley use preservatives?

Every natural product needs some sort of preservative to ensure that it arrives with the customer in the optimum condition. We use the minimum amount of preservatives that we can and we are continually reviewing the ones that we do use to ensure the quality of product expected by our customers.

Can I get an allergic reaction from Bramley products?

Although allergic reactions to Bramley products are very rare indeed, if you think you have suffered an allergic reaction, please stop using the product. It is possible to be allergic to pretty much anything, including essential oils and other natural ingredients. If you suspect you have a sensitivity, we would strongly recommend that you test a small amount of any new product on the inside of your elbow. If you experience any redness or tingling, you should return the product for a refund.

Do Bramley products contain synthetic microbeads?

We do not use synthetic microbeads, or any other plastic, as an ingredient in any of our products.

Where does the name ‘Bramley’ come from?

Bramley originates from Bramley Road in London, where Chloё was living when she first dreamt up the range. It fits because it encapsulates the natural Englishness of the countryside, which is what the products are all about.
