Trigger Warning- Baby Loss

To mark Baby Loss Awareness Week from the 9th - 15th October 2022, we are delighted to have partnered with Teddy’s Wish to create an exclusive, limited edition candle with 100% of profits donated to the charity.

Teddy’s Wish is a charity founded by parents Jen and Chris Reid in honour of their baby boy Eddie, who lost his life to SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) at only three months old. The British charity believes no family should ever suffer the loss of a baby, so it is committed to improving support services available to those that do. Teddy’s Wish also funds life-saving research into the causes of SIDS, neonatal death, and stillbirth.

“When Jen, the founder of Teddy’s Wish, approached Bramley to create a candle to raise funds for their charity, it was an easy decision for us to make. As a mother of three, I know how precious life is, and these vital funds will go towards supporting those who have lost a child, and researching the causes of stillbirth, neonatal deaths, and SIDS, ensuring more parents don’t have to experience loss.”

- Chloë Luxton, Founder of Bramley.

Baby Loss Awareness Week is a campaign that shines a light on pregnancy and baby loss in the UK. The campaign, which runs from the 9th to the 15th of October, unites bereaved parents, family, and friends to commemorate the lives of babies who died during pregnancy, at or soon after birth, and in infancy. The campaign closes with the Wave of Light ceremony on October 15th. This poignant event encourages people around the world to light a candle in memory of those babies taken too soon.

“We are delighted to be collaborating with Bramley to create a special edition candle for Baby Loss Awareness Week. On average, 13 babies in the UK die each day before, during, or after birth up until 12 months old. This is 13 babies too many. Our mission is to honour those babies and raise vital funds to support bereaved families and help save future lives. We are humbled and delighted that 100% of the proceeds from the Bramley X Teddy’s Wish Wave of Light Candle will be donated to Teddy’s Wish.”

- Jen Reid, Co-Founder of Teddy’s Wish.

Featuring notes of lavender, yarrow and chamomile, this calming candle is made using 100% natural wax from sustainable and renewable sources and has a 55 hour burn time.
