She Shares: Building A Modern Day Village

At Bramley, we've always believed that wellbeing is about so much more than the products we create. While botanical rituals can help us pause and reconnect with ourselves, it's often the people around us who help us feel truly restored.

Community has quietly become part of the heart of Bramley. Whether it's welcoming familiar faces into our Bath shop, hosting seasonal workshops, or simply sharing a cup of tea and a conversation, we've seen how meaningful those small moments of connection can be.

That's why we were so delighted to partner with She Shares for an evening dedicated to bringing women together. Founded by Katja and Sarah, She Shares creates beautifully welcoming events where women can meet, connect and build genuine friendships, often with complete strangers who don't stay strangers for long.

Following our event together, we asked them to share a few thoughts on why community matters, now more than ever:

Building A Modern Day Village

"In a world where we're constantly connected digitally, so many of us are still searching for something much simpler: genuine conversation, meaningful connection, support when we need it most and the reassuring feeling that we're not alone.

That's one of the reasons we started She Shares. We wanted to create welcoming spaces where women could come together, meet new people and have real conversations. No pressure, no expectations and no need to arrive with someone you already know.

Over the last two years, we've watched complete strangers become friends, women support one another through life's challenges, collaborate in business, swap numbers over dinner and build relationships simply because they happened to sit next to each other at one of our events.

We don't need research to tell us what many women already know instinctively: life feels richer when we're surrounded by people who truly see us, encourage us and celebrate alongside us. There's something incredibly powerful about women coming together and creating that sense of belonging.

Our recent evening with Bramley was a beautiful reminder of exactly that. Bringing together like-minded women in such a relaxed and welcoming setting created the space for conversations to unfold naturally. There was laughter, openness and genuine connection, the kind that lingers long after the evening ends.

One of our favourite moments at every She Shares event is watching someone arrive on their own and leave having met somebody new. Those moments may seem small, but they're often the beginning of friendships, support networks and communities that continue to grow.

Because community isn't about having the biggest circle, It's about feeling that you belong, Knowing you could reach out, and that someone would be there to listen, encourage or simply sit beside you".

Founders, She Shares

At Bramley, we hope our Bath shop feels like an extension of the same idea.

More than a place to discover botanical skincare, bath and body rituals, we hope it's somewhere you can pause, take a breath, ask questions, share stories and leave feeling a little lighter than when you arrived.

Whether you're popping in for your favourite Hand Cream, joining on our our events, or simply stopping by for a chat, you're always warmly welcome. We believe the smallest moments of kindness and connection have a wonderful way of growing into something much bigger.

After all, every community begins with a simple hello.
