A moisturiser has larger molecules which means it sits more on the surface of the skin helping to seal in the moisture to create a soft and protective layer.

At which stage should I introduce a serum into my skincare regime?

You can introduce a serum when you notice the first signs of ageing or are concerned about a specific skin concern that your moisturiser may not be fulfilling totally. Combining your serum and moisturiser can provide a more satisfactory and longer lasting effect.
