World Refill Day is a global public awareness campaign to prevent plastic pollution and help people live with less waste.
This year’s World Refill Day theme is ‘getting reusables back on the menu’ in the wake of the pandemic. Over the last 18 months, we’ve seen a huge increase in single-use plastic, and many businesses have banned reusable cups and containers altogether.

Why is refill so important to us here at Bramley?

  • Over the last 20 years, we’ve produced more plastic than in the whole of the last century.
  • Plastic production is expected to double again over the next 20 years and almost quadruple by 2050!
  • We now produce over 300 million tonnes of plastic every year – up to half of which is single-use.
  • A million plastic bottles are sold every minute worldwide – a figure that’s expected to grow by 20% by 2022.

Since day one, we have constantly been making moves to reduce the crazy overuse of plastic, from introducing refillable glass bottles and 5L starter packs to our fully recyclable packaging. 10% of each individual Molly Mahon reusable face mask & every 5 Litre Starter Pack sold via Bramley's site; we donate £5 to City to Sea.

We believe that Refill has the power to create a wave of change and stop plastic pollution at the source by connecting you instantly to a global network of places to reduce, reuse and refill.

This World Refill Day, choose to reuse and join millions of people around the world taking action to reduce plastic pollution. Say goodbye to single-use plastic and make small changes by trying a zero-waste shop or switching to a reusable water bottle. There are so many ways to get involved.

What will you do this #WorldRefillDay
